Gore also needs to remind upper income voters that his administration is responsible for a lot of their prosperity.

Even if upper income voters agreed with such nonsense, they are extremely aware that under Gore's plan they will not be able to pass half of that prosperity along to their loved ones. Gore prefers to take someone else's lifetime work and buy the votes of the poor through class envy.

I think Gore's attack on Bush's plan to withdraw our troops from the Balkans was a major blunder. I find myself fully agreeing with Bush on this issue. In fact I find myself agreeing with Bush on a bunch of issues, most of them economic. The only issues that still keep me with Gore (barely) are social issues such as choice etc.
