Bush saying he'd back out of the Balkans just as the new Serbian government is trying to take hold under dangerous circumstances was not only irresponsible but wrong. We are not sustaining any casualities. We are there along with our NATO allies and everything is going very well - so far. In the future we might want to consider lessening our presence but to use this as a campaign issue was foolhardy. I guess Bush needed to grasp for one military issue of Gore's to cricicize since he spend so much time BS'ing about our weak military and low morale. He tried Haiti first then realized we only had a few dozen people there. It was a putzy and dangerous move on Bush's part. He actually agrees with CLinton-Gore's foreign policy but has to try and find a difference to make himself look credible. And who's to blamne for Saddam still being in power?
