45 mins of the Sunday show so far, and not word 1 about overall market direction or timing. Just heard a question whether he would give advice on when to re-enter the market, and I think he said "we'll definitely cover that in the newsletter". No mention of covering it on the radio. Looks like suspicions are correct, Brinker is taking all useful market discussion to pay-only mode.

Since that makes his radio show become "Bob Brinker's PoliticsTalk and Generic Widely-Available Financial News Headlines and Personal Finance Advice", I would guess that his listener numbers are going to drop even further. Even if he doesn't voluntarily wind up the radio show, I'd expect he'll get cancelled because of bad numbers.

I just subscribed to his newsletter in preparation for the new mode, so I guess his marketing ploy worked. But I have to say the bizarre preference for snail-mail in the Internet age is a pretty big negative for me.
