It is not a marketing ploy Julius. Mr. Brinker was presented with evidence that his previous buy call on the QQQ managed to move the market, more than he dreamed possible. He does not want that result and responsibility. That is very understandable to me.

Also I like his so called "off topic" discussion. Answering personal finance is the basis of the show, and he is getting more popular all the time.

Julius, have BB's listener numbers been dropping?

I have been a bit surprised by the cultish attitude of many of his subscribers, not to mention the fact that BB does little to discourage this attitude. In addition, I have noticed that, over the past year, his shows have become increasingly irrelevant to me as an investor. His perspective, once unique, has become merely a reiteration of news I get elsewhere. The Motley Fool radio program, as hopelessly bullish as it is, at least is edifying on occasion.
