it does sound like you are in the mid... what you described is very familiar stage for me.
I think the only way to move ahead at this point is to move ahead. I am not trying to say something cute here. It's just a stage that requires more actual experience of following your intuitive impulses. Doing this and keeping your losses small you subconciously learning those very fine details that differ feeling of winning trade from the case where you have a doubt.

When true intuitive impulse comes you react before you even realize it. When you have to "listen" to it, to make an effort to distinguish true impulse from wishful thinking - it's more of gambling, you don't know anymore if you heard it or you wanted to hear it...

Sheesh, how not easy to put it in words... Does it make sense?
