<<A GOP victory will bring back inflation and make the market go down. Wall Street loves the status quo and the leadership that's in place.>>

You also seem to have forgot that under Reagan Bush, the stock market appreciated greatly, interest rates went down
and inflation went down. They also presided over the downfall of Communism.

As someone who makes his living in the stock market, I can tell you that nothing is further from the truth. Wall Street views Gore and his policies as the most liberal and dangerous in the last 40 years. His pro-labor, anti-business stance is frightening. He will attack drug and other medical companies openly and the justice department will continue its assault on America's greatest technology companies. There will be more and more disruptive regulations put on business. Wages will rise and productivity will fall. Trial lawyers will keep feeding at the trough of junk science and companies will be forced to keep paying their extortion.

<<Wall Street loves the status quo>>>: No and no. We definitely do NOT like the repetiton of 2000 with the UP and down of March-April and SEpt-Oct. We have enough of it.

Until your post, I wasn't aware that Bill Clinton and Al Gore authored software, designed silicon chips, assembled P.C.'s, manufactured routers, built telecom lasers, or figured out algorithms. In fact, I heard Gore got a "D" in his natural sciences course in college, flunked divinity school, and dropped out of law school. Maybe we're thinking about different people.

Btw, if Wall Street loves the status quo and the "leadership" (your term) that's in place, why is nearly everybody's tech portfolio I read about on SI down about 30%-50% since January? Tough love?
