As for it always works out that way, are you saying there are no instances where minority rights are abridged by the majority? If so, how can you say that in a country where we had slavery for three hundred years? You are saying that a democracy without that characteristics isn't doable, so you go for the bad. Thus it is true and it has been so. I choose to live under a democracy and I will continue to because I absolutely believe that it is the best form of government. That doesn't blind me to it's shortcomings and keep me from complaining about them. Complaining about the government is a right in a democracy.
