Kenneth, do you feel the Microsoft case is a major reason for Bush being tied in WA? Didn't I read somewhere there are some environmental issue in Washington that also might helped Bush pull up to a tie?

I feel Washington depends mainly on turn out. I am not sure Nader is as big a factor in Washington as people say, because I figure most Nader voters wouldn't vote if they didn't vote for Nader since I consider it a protest vote.

Oregon does have me puzzled. I have left it in the toss-up group because of the 9% undecided and 7% Nader vote. It seems that Nader could be a much bigger problem in OR. I am also unsure about the new voting method and how it will effect the election. Do they have safeguards in place to prevent voter fraud?

In summary, if I had to guess I would say that WA will go Gore and OR will go Bush.
