Neocon, good bid. But take some time and seriously read up on funding for public education in the state of New Hampshire. The state ain't as rosey as jlallen would have you believe.

Under the 14th amendment each state must provide everyone with equal protection of the laws. The courts are now ordering States to provide suitable education for every child, regardless of cost. In Hawaii, under a federal district court order (and a Republican judge), the state is spending more than 10% of its total public school budget on enforcing this decision. No one cares about where the funds for education come from, if a child can show that he is deprived of equal protection, then the federal courts will order the state to deliver equal protection. If the state doesn't, the court will seize the schools and the money to pay for them.
