Fremont is still the southern end of BART. And the voters get another shot of extending it into San Jose two weeks from today. It will take a 2/3 vote (Prop 13) so the odds are not good.

To All, ASA. Though this is known as the granddaddy of all gold funds, the latest quarterly report was an eye opener. 50% of assets were indeed in great gold miners, but a full 45% was invested in platinum and diamonds. As many readers know, I prefer platinum and, sometimes, diamonds, to gold, so this deeply discounted closed end fund looks even better to me now.
