American Spirit and lawdog may be Gore's very best friends. One thing that seems apparent he doesn't have a lot of them. My observation is that the people in government don't even like him. All the Republicans and many of the democrats have said and/or telegraphed he isn't the greatest leader to come down the pike. Our saving grace is Bush is a leader, team builder and a unifier. I think we will have a shot at rebuilding American pride under Bush.

Don't try to follow spit ball's conversation too closely. You'll get whiplash.

I don't follow your point here.

Oh okay. Federal spending plans? Well Bush has to be a little less because he's giving a trillion to the rich and another trillion to citizens as part of his SS privateization plan. Other than that he slashes social services but he still won't have enough and national debt will increase under Bush. Gore's plan is more responsible and benefits the middle-class and safety nets more. Safety nets which include health care, public education, SS and Medicare.
