Dan: Welcome to this thread, which we hope will stay alive despite most of the Canadian JV's dropping Ekho 1! Has anyone seen an announcement from Berkshire? I had heard that only Curlew was left, but hadn't seen a BKR release. Also heard that they don't need $2 million immediately, which raises the issue of this being a ploy to flush out the small cap JV partners. The Olcese has possible water problems, which is why they aren't perforating there. What I wonder is, with most or all of the JV dropping out, who will step up to fund the next round of fracs? Is BKR still in, and will they step up for more? Or could BKP get into the act? Should be interesting to see how it all shakes out.
