We went through this in 1998. No recession then. I don't know what it's like there in the heartland, but out here economic activity is not slowing down.

I think some stock prices can come back to earth without a recession. GE stock price isn't whispering recession either.

Recessions haven't been outlawed, it's just that we are sooo much smarter than all of the people who went before us. We use science to manage our economy into being prosperous through manipulation of the money supply and consumer confidence. -g-

We don't need actual products any more... just cruise the web and 'look at' stuff... don't buy it. I find it strange that so many 'internet infrastructure' bulls [CSSO, etc] seem to think that simply faster somehow makes money... if companies selling to peole arent' doing well, why do they think investment in the web will simply continue? Every time I ask this I get all sorts of buzzwords and no answer.
