Um.

You don't think AMD will be able to announce 1.6GHz until June? Given, I mean, that they've promised to announce 1.5GHz in January?

Jim, if AMD does 1.5 GHz in January, I have no doubt they will be at 1.8 in June. Maybe thats a big "if" though. OTOH, the CNet article by Spooner yesterday made it sound like 2 GHz may require 0.13u for P4. In that case, I'd doubt any significant P4 2 GHz volume until late Q3.

The Spooner article also said that 1.7 would appear by the end of Q1. That means that for all of Q1, AMD and Intel should both be at 1.5, again IF the AMD promise (1.5 in January) is kept.
