Er, it may be "bloody obvious", but the string of comparisons here is a bit noisy. Anand's gigamine QIII scored didn't use the OR840, which does look good on bandwidth dependent things. Maybe the P4/gigamine comparison numbers did, maybe they didn't. The P4/gigamine numbers indicate some bandwidth benefit for QIII, but not to the same degree that the SpecFP and Stream numbers benefit.

We'll see. I'm sure Intel is working hard with Id to make it look good anyway.
