OT Fred, I love all of the rhetoric about how bad a shape Texas is in. If it is indeed the 3rd world country as many Democrats suggest, why was Bush reelected? Gore is a Demagogue who will pit people against each other to gain political office, much the same as Clinton has done. I know many people bring certain views and biases to the table; as such, I do not intend on trying to change anyone's mind. I am simply amazed that so many are taken in by the empty words of Gore. Where has he been for the past 8 years? Why does he want to put these programs into place NOW? What has he been doing for 8 years? He had his shot but did not succeed. FWIW, I was going to vote for Nader but I feel that Gore is not worthy of the office. Nor are his programs good for the country, in that there is no possible way he can afford them unless one assumes the GDP will grow by 6% without ever seeing recession for the next 10 years. Brian As an aside, I expect there to be many more OT posts in the coming weeks with the elections coming. I would merely ask everyone to preface an OT post with OT.
