Bear market? How can you say that? There is no "Market", at least not a single market. The problem is that some stocks have been bid up on expectations of a perfect economy and perfect growth outlook. When that doesn't happen, stocks come down to somewhat more reasonable levels. But that does not mean that this is a bear market. Maybe for hyper inflated tech stocks but not for the broad market. Small and mid cap stocks are up for the year. Just look at the S&P mid cap index. It's a great year for reasonably priced growth stocks. It is not so friendly for pigs that try to fly to the stars.
