Just got back in for a few minutes (then running out again) so trying to digest any 'new' news. My first impressions are:

a) I don't call a 90% rise in sales "lagging". What we see is a company in a huge tornado running like crazy to keep up. Nothing 'scares' me about NT's earnings - except the markets reaction. In short any perceived short fall - real or perceived is really sending this market into a tail spin. I don't know of NT guiding even higher than this. Roth guided the analysts up a few weeks ago and Nortel is still sticking with his future estimates.

b) As far as "losing money" we have talked about the "pooling" method versus the method Norte/JDSU and others use enough for this to be a non issue. The press is, obviously, head hunting right now and looking for headlines. A scary market to be in for sure!

So far my primary concerns have nothing to do with NT but with the market in general.
