OH: Bush Increases Lead
DeWine Ahead for Senate

Governor George W. Bush increased his lead over Vice President Al Gore to nine points in Ohio according to the most recent Portrait of America (POA) telephone survey of likely voters. Bush has 48%, Gore 39%. In the race for the United States Senate, incumbent Republican Mike DeWine leads Democratic challenger Ted Celeste 56% to 30%.

"I feel your pain" really did a number on you. Of course, your party did away with the tax cut that would have eliminated income tax for those making less than 26,000? per year and drastically reduced liability for those making less than $60,000. You know, the real common working man or woman.

I fit into the latter, and I wanted a tax cut.

Thanks to your champions(Clinton/Gore), I lost out again.
