No, there are lots and lots of Gods.

I'm sure of it. Just absolutely positive, just as positive as you are that there is one.

They split up the work. Some falls through the cracks, which is why things are such a mess.

There used to be one (that's what's got you confused), not counting the The Great HeHe, who is God over that one God. The Great HeHe was so appalled at the job Regular He was doing down here (The Great HeHe had made Regular Him omnipotent, and yet there was all this evil and suffering going on) that he appointed co-Gods.

Unfortunately, The Great HeHe has other universes to superintend, so hasn't gotten back to us yet on appointing someone to coordinate the f-ing up Regular Gods.

This is fun. Unfortunately I have to leave now.

I.m not trying to get you angry CB, I'm just trying to understand what you believe. Being an ex-Catholic myself, with 10 years of force-fed Catholic schooling, I know that Catholics are supposed to begin their prayers with "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of The Holy Spirit (used to be Ghost, but they changed it, I think because it confused a lot of kids), Amen. Do you not start your prayers this way? Are you saying that you don't believe in the Trinity, a fundamental belief of Catholics? Do you not believe that Jesus was God in the flesh? You still haven't answered. I you refuse to answer, I will understand.
