Yes you are right, it's not only about technology - it's about logistics -the right kind of product, in the correct quantity, at the right time, at the right place. It seems Nokia is a master at this. We are talking 2 million phones per week or so, after all. It's amazing to go to any mall or shopping center around here (Wash DC) and see all the stores where they sell phones -Nokia, Nokia everywhere, beit AT&T, Cellular One or Voicestream and soon they will dominate CDMA too. We even have stores just selling covers for the different models. Yes, I expect them to time the market with GPRS and WCDMA too...
