I read it during the call. Sure makes things easy to follow. ;) As did your notes of the call. Excellent as always. Thanks, Pat. Let's hope JDSU can do even half as well as NUFO and SDLI. BTW, did NUFO beat the Street by a penny (as Briefing.com reported)? Or $.11 (as everyone else reported). Not that it really matters much. Just curious. Lastly, here's JCA's website. jcatech.com Curious what u think of their product mix.

Dear Pat,

vision.yahoo.com

a brief comment tonight by an analyst stating that NUFO
sees no slow-down in demand as of last week... sheesh,
the market sure doesn't think so and I'm already paying
for my haste to buy in --at 47 yesterday, hoping that the
sell-before-the-lockout was overdone. Obviously not!
It's been quite quiet here for the last while: any news or
opinions regarding this company you might share with the
thread?

What do you feel is there main competitive advantage?

I was reading through the NUFO post tonight and found the
ones you wrote particularly interesting. This prompted me
to read more of your posts on the JDU thread in particular
and found out that you invested (unfortunately!) in many of
the same companies my wife did (GSLI, EMKR, KOPN). You may
be intrigued by her latest find: UTCI --we missed CREE last
year. Of the companies you discuss recently, the one that
you mention that most intrigued me was VRTA. I'll read up
on it soon as 20$ look pretty cheap.

Thanks again for your informative optical component/network
sector posts.

p.s. we just left San Diego to settle down where I grew up,
in the optical hotbead that is Ottawa...

Optical Equipment NETS ADR

Hi Pat!

Perfect weather here today!!!

NUFO is a component of this ADR, scheduled to price on 11/20. (It looks a little overweighted in LU, to me...)

Hope all's well,
