Skeeter, If the issue was Saddam is evil and get rid of him, most people will agree. But how does the blockading of medicine help get rid of Saddam ? After 10 years it has not dislodged him.

Killing innocent people is wrong. Would that be a difficult concept if a foreign country was blocking you from buying medicine with your own money ?

If by any chance you are not 100% convinced that the main objective of US middle east policy is the crushing of any opposition to Israel, then you really ought to do some reading.

Skeeter,

My opinion is you explained this perfectly. Saddam is somewhat like Hitler although I am not sure he wants to control the entire world. I suspect if the average Iraqi citizen had all the available information, they would prefer Saddam ousted. The problem is they do not have that information and Saddam has control by nicely providing for his top tier people. Let the rest be damned.
