You know, at the risk of sounding callous to the pain out there, this kind of volitility is precisely what we (as traders) need to turn profits day in and out...no? Don't get me wrong, when NAZ was going straight up it was much easier and infinitely more fun; but, as long as the market is moving we should be able to profit. I know that becoming comfortable with puts (i trade almost all options) has certainly increased my ability to profit instead of waiting for bounces back up, so the market seems a little less scary (read horrifngly brutal) on the way down. I don't know, i pretty much just lurk here and don't contribute too much so hope I'm not too out of line. Just seems that movement = money. Good luck to all tomorrow, lord knows I will be nursing my GLW and PCMS calls, yeeesh.
