A few final gasps from the supreme FUDsters.

This reminds me of last year.

Rambus is the future. DDR is a temporary solution AND will bring a huge revenue stream to Rambus.

Rambus has the industry by the balls.

You lose ...LOSER.

John Clueless AMDroid,
Rambus is already more than 10%. More like 20%. SDRAM/DDR royalties from NEC, Toshiba, Hitachi and OKI, as well as royalties on RDRAM from Samsung make more than 10% of the market.

If anyone is going to ZERO, it's your junk AMD, Micron and DDR, loser. DDR is D.O.A. No name brand OEM volume pusher is touching that junk. With no name brand OEMs and no volume, DDR is dead dead dead.

John,

Rambus is the biggest failure of Y2000 and this stock is going to ZERO.

To be a real bear, you need to use more exclamation points (see my posts describing the appropriate syntax and punctuation for bears from a couple of months ago).

The following is a much more convincing statement:

Rambus is the biggest failure of Y2000 and this stock is going to ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Additional capitalization would also help the bear cause:

Rambus is the BIGGEST FAILURE of Y2000 and THIS STOCK IS GOING TO ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope this helps.

Dave

Petz, <Rambus is the biggest failure of Y2000 and this stock is going to ZERO.>

Biggest failure? Let's look at the bright side:

- Sony Playstation 2 design win. Judging from the mindshare and the success of the original Playstation, it's safe to assume that PS2 will keep Sony on top for years to come. And RDRAM is inside that thing.

- Most workstations these days sell with RDRAM. Some workstation apps really do need the bandwidth.

- Pentium 4 will be RDRAM-only for a while.

- And finally, there is a good chance that the legal battles will be resolved by settlement. My belief isn't that Rambus pulled a fast one on JEDEC (as the Ram-bears claim), but that JEDEC underestimated Rambus' IP and considered their patents too frivolous to hold up in court.

In conclusion, if this stock is going to ZERO, I'd sure like to know when. It's probably not going to be in the next twelve months.
