OT OT OT - Last post on this matter then back to investing.

Bambs,

This is the last I'm going to say in this matter and the only reason I am is because of the attack on my credibility... otherwise this is a waste of time.

First regarding LU I went and looked (I can't believe I spend the time) and I believe there is a post on 8/4 that states that I had exited LU "a long time ago".

Yeah, Monty will post some garbage about why I didn't tell the thread... Heck, I don't post all my trades... but at Least I post some... unlike you and Monty who apparently don't invest or trade at all...

But all in all had I to do it over again i would not have spent any time in LU. And yes, I made the mistake of re-entering in mid-September. Yes, I make mistakes. I know that you don't because you never take a position on anything. You're a pontificator making long term predictions but don't back them up with any conviction least of all any money. You say that I have no credibility? At least I put my money where my mouth is.

Cisco going to $30-$35? Where's you long term short position. Even at $50 you could make 15%. But no... you don't have one. It's just hot air and blathering. Wanna talk credibility???

Ooops. Woke up one morning and felt differently. What is it - a buy or a sell.... Still no position...

This one was classic - this isn't investing - I don't think you know what investing is:
I will most likely end up going long in afterhours as the numbers come out. If the numbers live up to the hype we will see a pop afterhours. Then a
gap and fade tomorrow morning. Then a quick turn around followed by a 2-3 day rally that will fail around the $70-72 at best. If the numbers are
poor or there is a warning for future quarters I will short afterhours. Most likely they will not warn of any slowing in growth. I expect that they
hype the europe/asia growth in the conference call. Looking at risk to reward, I don't think the short makes sense at this level. I don't gamble.

So while I have conviction in my positions - and back them up with money - I am unfortunately wrong sometimes - most of the time however I get out with a small gain. I don't know an analyst that doesnt' make mistakes... but the growth in my portfolio tells me I'm more right than I am wrong. You on the other hand are like a worm... never taking a position on anything. I have said many times that you have a good sense of overall economics.....I give you credit for this.. but you know nothing about the communications sector. I have not seen you give anyone credit for anything and perhaps this is why we can't have a civil discussion... you "dis" others without giving them their due. Today it appears macro factors and negative sentiment have a greater influence on this sector than I would have expected but this may not last. October is always rough. I think your posts are appropriate on a thread that discusses macro issues but when you run into a thread (like you did the other day on the NT thread) AFTER THE FACT and suggest that you knew something..... that isnt' credibility. That actually was a pretty pathetic display.. and what kind of response would you expect? I mean - do you even know what "tact" is? You behavior then and continues to be inappropriate for a forum where ADULTS share INVESTMENT ideas. If you need someone to make you feel good about yourself go talk to your wife. Credibility is earned.

NOW... Can we get back to investing... and off this childish bickering about who's di@#(# is longer.

If you don't like my positions you can ignore them. It's not up to you to counter my positions.. and to be honest you have no business doing so if you're not short.
