edamo...margin selling is totally expected today until after lunch..lots of calls out there unmet..I expect pressure to come off after that...anyone who expected a sustainable rally right out of the box today does not understand margin calls, however, I believe the JDSU report will show that the NT "negative hype" was used to accumulate cheap optical shares from weak hands, both individual and institutional. Plenty of leveraged money on the "institutional" side that are leveraged. Individuals are not the only ones who get margin calls.
