Interview went very well. No warnings, question about the two Barrons articles and he put that down as "Old World Accounting Principals" was not relavent to the new world.

"articles were a little bit off base"

Look for a good CC!

He basically said that the quarter is in the bag without actually saying it. He is comfortable with 30-50% in the next 3-5 years. He was surprised that NT missed their optical growth and blamed it on their narrow focus in optical (my interpretation of his remarks) compared to CSCO's 12-18 products at or approaching $B run rates. He also mentioned that figure could approach 18-24 product lines next year. Responded to mail in about Barron's accounting article that he thought pooling was the way to go in the new economy. Nothing new there as he has always been a proponent.knc
