I don't believe thats accurate... wash sale definitely applies to daytraders..If you buy back within thirty days then the loss is just added to your basis.... You can't book a loss without staying out of the stock for at least thirty days

Could you explain that? I never knew that daytraders were exempt from wash sale rules - where did you get this?
