skeeter, this is a good question. I paid the 4.50 because i didn't want to schlep to Stanford Shopping Center or even closer. Frankly, those book stores such as Printers Inc. Stacy's or Kepler's have become so hollowed out that I no longer have confidence to even find a commodity item like a Sierra Club Engagement calendar there.

Yet that fact is not much of an endorsement for amzn's business model, as the company embraces all these other retail categories....

At any rate, I admit I hate venturing out on the surface streets of SV, what with the pervasive rat race here. lol. But I acknowledge that most folks may find 4.50 shipping on a 11.65 item outrageous and too much to pay.

From an amzn investment viewpoint, that is my concern.
