Interesting thought. Could this be a defining moment, passing of the crown? We should find out in a couple hours.

At the time of your post the Naz had already decreased the deficit to 55 - and JDSU was already back to even

JDSU is not a "bellweather" for the market but as an optical bellweather in an attempt to offset NT's damage

I predict it'll be up after earnings but will slide into negative territory sometime tomorrow or Monday - i wouldn't bet a dollar on it though

If JDSU is a bellweather, we should be just fine, which is why I bought more at these rediculously low levels today...from a low of 62 to closing at 75...talk about a bounce!...sympathy selloff ala the NT warning was overkill...also bought more NT when they were down (just a smidge).

p.s. you and I must be trading in different markets when you indicate "market down 140 points today"...according to my streamer, DOW up a whopping 105, NAZ up 50 and the DOT up some 2%....I'll take those numbers any day of the week!
