Rocky,

Be VERY nimble. You are betting against a long bull market. Maybe you are right, maybe everything has changed. There have been a lot of folks that have bet that way that have been wrong over the last ten years, very few that have had the timing to get in and out, short, and make money.

I would wish you good luck, but that would be insincere. I hope you can cover quickly, but if not, I hope you get burned. Nothing personal. We all make decisions and live with them.

JDSU trading on Island at 82 5/8 (7:15 ET). It closed at 74 7/16 before earnings were released. This looks good for tomorrow for the fiber optic stocks--at least maybe for an hour or so.<g> We're also close to the end of the month and fund manager's fiscal year-end selling, so if we can hold on for a few more days, we might be on an up-trend again.
