Hi RFH,
Are you saying "Good AIM, Bad Target"?

:-)

As we know, all stocks have their own seasons. It sounds like Steve's been doing a lot of harvesting while you've been busy planting.

Don't forget that you also did some "crop rotation" back about six months ago. So, the new crop may not yet be ready for harvest.

My new planting in WCOM hasn't even sprouted yet. However, I have 40% more acreage planted now than when I started it about 6 weeks ago. Still some seed left should we see good growing conditions develop. Latest planting was done at $22-3/4.

With the IW at 47 and the Oscillator at minus 7, if all things stayed the same for a few weeks, we'd be back to an average risk market place. I feel confident that this week's data is going to show further decline in Speculation which should help the IW drop more.

I read that there's a good chance that the 52 week Treasury Bill may be history soon. I guess I'll have to re-work the Relative Valuation chart with a new interest rate. I'd noticed a longer and longer period between 1 year offerings and new rates, but didn't read about the impending end until yesterday. If/when it does disappear, I'll let everyone know what change I make. It will probably be a longer term paper.

Best regards, Tom

Hi Robert:

Just lucky I guess. I am trying to find the time to summarize my first year with AIM, and post it out on a freebie disposable web site. My goal this first year was to learn a few things:

- Is my 'basket' approach viable?
- Did my formulae apply?
- Could I (really) make some money?

So far the answer is 'yes' to all 3. I learned a few other things as well, and I'll post them too.

I'd also be very interested in how you got where you are as well. It may very well have been 'wrong stocks', or maybe some other decisions made along the way.

The great thing about this group is we're willing to share success and failure in order to learn and help each other succeed in this endeavor.

Regards, Lucky in Lubbock

BTW: After the drubbing taken over the last few weeks, I now stand at +27.2% and less than 1% cash reserve.
