Caxton , I will try to find some more links for you after lunch. But one of the first product prototypes was a Bluetooth enabled headset for a cell phone (Ericsson). How would that work if it wasn't a live stream? The bandwidth of Bluetooth is just under a Mbit or so - would that make sense if what you say is correct?

That is incorrect. Many usage models with Bluetooth do involve streaming of data from CELL to BT device during a call (Headsets, Car kits, BT access points etc..).
