"Or is this just an emotional and irrational reaction to the obvious conclusion that if God exists then you are morally responsible to Him?"

Are my children morally responsible to me, or am I morally responsible to them? Both, of course, but the primary responsibility runs from me to my children, since they need me to care for them.

So, I think that if there is a God, the primary responsibility runs from God to me, not from me to God.

After all, it is within God's power to change my circumstances, but it is not within my power to change God's circumstances.

Sorry Greg, the Grag was a mistype. As has been stated here many times, a negative cannot be proven. It is up to those making the assertion that there is a god that should provide the evidence. Beliefs based solely on faith are irrational.
