Charles, what do you want them to do ? Hire hitmen to go after the hackers ? They can afford it, you know... I don't think that this hack attack is too damaging except from a public relations perspective. I have heard nightmare scenarios in the past 2 days. They just don't make sense. Generally speaking, software companies are SO disorganized that just looking at a bunch of code doesn't lead to any benefit. It could all be open source for all I care, it doesn't make a difference. Given a reasonable time, I am sure I could reverse engineer any software product out there. This sort of stuff is overrated. People who whine about microsoft code secrecy are incompetent. For god's sake, everybody has the final product on their machines. Just learn x86 assembler and have a go at it... Just IMHO...
