bobby..thanks for bringing this to our attention, as it really accentuates the need for following the tape (Vadym and I have exchanged PMs and do share this very basic philosophy) ...and as lee k. has taught many of us, news out is of no real relevance in considering a trade until the "reaction" to the news is evident, be it positive or negative (long or short positioning) ..news is news, but its the reaction to the news that defines the trend.

MMs do, as we've discovered, find a way to gap it up at the open when they see their order book full of sells.

Vadym's poiint of TA technicians trading breakouts of 200 DMA and 13-week breakouts is so often a flag that a major move is spawning ..by the big houses, so I like these plays the best for "continuing" moves and therefore the entry point becomes less crucial...usually my best trades are in finding these pivotal points and just letting them run. In position trading (as with BEAS, for instance), the NRs laced with "opinion" vs. hard facts, don't ruffle my feathers much.
