Not really... it all depends on your perception. If you try to fight the market, to outsmart it - then yes, you will find that everything is stacked against you. But as soon as you switch your perception market becomes... well, may be not best friend but not enemy for sure. Look at it this way: market has no idea about your existence, your attempts to swim in it. It's not after you. It just lives its life. If you want to succeed you have to become the part of it. And market doesn't reject you, nor it helps you. It is what it is and it does what it does. If something happens that constantly shakes you out it means you miss some detail. Market does it's thing and you are not in tune with it. Find what it is that you do not right and correct it. And in a while you will find out that it ceased to work and you need to correct it once again... and again... and this is exactly what calls "to breath with market". I intentionally am not trying to discuss particular situation you describe. It just doesn't make sense. There are plenty of situations of this kind and it all starts to work out for you only when you find the way to deal with it, to adjust the way you act. Good news - yes, it is possible to learn to adjust (and of course you know it and you did it not once). Bad news - it's endless process... there won't be a moment when anyone can say: finally, I got it all down. Well, one can say it but punishment will be just around the corner :) Since market changes constantly in all those fine details, one has to learn how to change with it instead of learning all the details once and for all. I am not sure your sentence was intended to provoke such a long answer but it triggered something in me :) Best regards, Vadym
