I'm not saying there is a God, or that he she or it is or is not bounded- I am MERELY saying that it is possible to imagine a God not bound by such limitations. Which, I think, is what E was getting at.

The whole issue of "religion-motivated medical neglect" raises difficult ethical questions. What do we do if a parent denies a child necessary medical care in a life-threatening situation, claiming that interference with this decision would constitute a violation of their (the parents) freedom of religion.

Personally, I would say treat the child and lock the parents up if required to keep them from interfering: when anyone's practice of religion impinges on someone else's rights, the rights of the someone else should take precedence. But that's just my opinion.
