We probably agree though I'm probably being a little more colorful in the way I say it.

I chose my words carefully. The will is what I was talking about shaping reality. Not necessarily my will alone. For things as mundane as the average distance between the Earth and its moon, "will" doesn't impact it that much if at all. However, with enough time and enough will, I suspect that the collective will of the people of the world could change even that. We could increase the eccentricity of the orbit if we wished (if we found that was something we wanted to do). It would take a while, but it could be done, IMO.

Certainly as much as a physical condition affects us, we could change it. How long would it take to get a stone age man on the moon? That task is as close to impossible as impossible gets, but through the sheer act of collective will that seemingly impenetrable barrier of space has been surmounted - not by the stone age man but by the will and perseverence of his successors.

That is my metaphysical appraisal of our condition: there are no boundaries except in our mind and even those must be questioned as to their immutability.
