I was looking at T and VZ with the intention of buying one. VZ was just a little over 40 at the time and T was under 35. I ended up buying T at 32 1/8. VZ is now about 54. Drats foiled again. Oh well maybe 6 years from now T will have done as well as Walgreen has done over the past 6 years for me.

In your researching of T have you seen anything about a cutoff date to have owned T in order to get shares in AWE? I think it was originally spun off a short while before I bought. Since T still owns the vast majority of AWE does this mean that people buying now will get something out of their future moves to divest themselves of it?
