Chuck, Re: If you look at what is coming out it is tough to miss that this platform will really become available in Q1. I think this is kind of a paper launch. Yes, it's not easy to admit that but lead times of 45-60 days after the introduction are not a classic "volume" launch -- it reminds me somewhat of the 1.13 GHz P3 launch (Dell hat the same lead times then). Couple that with the fact that there are neither DDR boards nor 266 MHz FSB Athlons available on Pricewatch yet. Probably today's launch date was originally slated to counter the P4 launch but then maintained after the P4 got delayed. I think we will see real volume of both AMD 760 boards and DIMMS in December.
