Optical may be seeing great growth, but that is irrelevant. The key is looking at the change in the rate of growth, or its acceleration or deceleration. A lot of people are saying that the acceleration may be over. Is deceleration starting? That's the big question. Who has the answer? I have not seen any proof that growth in optical components is slowing. Until I do, I'll look at every report and news article through a microscope. As I've said over and over, ad nauseum, there has to be a reason SDLI and JDSU are expanding their manufacturing capacities by factors of 4X and 5X across all product segments. Pat
