I can speak for the church I attend. They are extremely careful to remain non partisan and to make no recommendations. The only thing they would possibly do is to encourage people to vote. But, never take a stand nor recommend any particular candidate or party. It can take your tax exempt status right away. And, one thing that bothers a lot of people is Gore and Clinton don't enforce the law. They want more gun laws and yet do not enforce the ones presently on the books.
