To that I would only add that Brian is talking about a 1.1 GHz Athlon equalling a 1.5 GHz P4 using DDR. A 1.2 GHz Athlon, 1.33 GHz Mustang and 1.53 GHz Mustang will deliver 3 knockout blows.

But that's not the best part- Intel marketing will drive demand for faster cpu's in general! I expect P4 to be delayed. Otherwise P3 volumes (or ASP's) will get slaughtered.

Petz - Ugh, do you and Milo_morai have me and my posts on ignore or something..? I posted that news a DAY AGO :)

<rant on>
I can be almost guaranteed that no matter what I post from sites.. but particularly Aces Hardware or The Register, no matter how concise the title I put on what the article contains.. guaranteed Milo and of late Maverick, and aburner will post the EXACT same article later - it may be a half day, a qtr of a day, or a full day - but it gets double posted .. and now you of all people have joined the "copy stribe's story" masses. I should start acting like RMBS and charge you all a royalty fee
:)
<rant off>

About the only place I dont get double posted from a lot is JC's Semiconductor News Site - leading me to believe it isnt on the regular reading list of you all (It should be if it isnt).
