Dear Frank: I wish Bush or the Republican party could just publish excerpts from his book and let the people see the truth. I see you are also from Fla. I can verify that the call to seniors in 96 is true. This scare tactic, saying Bush will take their SS away is disgraceful, but its effective. My brother, 72 intends to vote for Gore for that very reason. I have tried to tell him he is being exploited but he wont even listen. Looks to me, from what little I heard today, Clinton is going to try and help Gore by creating a crisis in our budget process again. I understand he vetoed a bill for the funds to keep Congress operating today despite having promised them he wont. Says something like, he wont allow bills to pass to pay for congress when they havent yet passed to pay for children. That will probably go well with the masses but its very dangerous to our form of government. JDN
