Companies like GE have the resources to hire the best CPAs and crackerjack tax lawyers so as to decrease their tax liability. People like Frank don't have the resources to do the same. As a result, small business foots more of the load than it ought to. But with Big Business donating millions of dollars to each major political party, will we see major changes in tax law (or campaign finance reform) anytime soon? No. Of course not. Think about it. GE had tax liability percentage about half of what a typical school janitor with a wife and three kids has.
