John, RE: "Thanks for the laugh."

I understand that Intel knows what it is like to be in a competitive environment.

Perhaps Intel has been in a position of leadership so long, management doesn't know how to operate when it looks as if the developers and OEM's and suppliers and consumers and investors aren't able, or willing, to follow wherever Intel leads.

Could it be because developers, OEM's, suppliers, consumers and investors just don't believe everything Intel says anymore?

Intel knows that brands need to be protected. Does Intel know credibility needs to be maintained?

There was a time I believed Intel could see into the future and literally make the future happen according to the Intel plan. Seems as if Intel isn't too sure what the future looks like these days.

Communication is more difficult when there is uncertainty. Intel doesn't seem to know what information they want to share with the world. Maybe they are just so strung out following all their new markets and new ideas, they don't have time to look at the entire landscape. Maybe I have always been a bit dazzled by Intel and followed foolishly?

Looking for confidence inspiring comments if you have any to share. Thanks, dmf

John - re: "I'll let them know they've never actually had any competition."

Better yet, why don't you let them know building more fabs in Israel might not be the smartest thing in the world....not until there is peace in the region anyway or they can figure out how to make them bomb proof.

Gordon

re:Thanks for the laugh

I was just reading ABN report which stated that Barrett admits poor execution over the last 18mo on 6/00

As an intel rep could you list actions that intel took to correct the problem.

btw ignoring the problem is not an action :-))
I also do not think that listing on intel web pIII-1.13 as one of the existing products can not be considered as action either.

What response intel is preparing for mustang as a server chip and mustang derivatives for mobile computing?

btw counting on amd not been able to deliver or sell as a business strategy was already tried by intel :-))

btw, you are very welcome and sorry for spoiling a good laugh there? :-))

Regards
-Albert

<edited> could you, pleasse, expend the action window to 23mo that is since the performance became lousy
