Bush claimed he could get things done in Texas because he's so good at "reaching across the aisle." Internal politics shouldn't have anything to do with it -- unless, of course, he doesn't really believe in vouchers or doesn't have the integrity to stand up for something he believes in. I'm not aware of him EVER talking about starting a voucher system in Texas. Yet now (as I understand it) he says the states should all be forced to implement them. JMHO. Charles Tutt (TM)
