NAH.. thats what us hardware geeks do.. heck.. thats why I joined on here in the 1st place.

Its nice to see tho you think us Canucks have some worth:)

EDIT: I should add here that I disagree with your .. for lack of better terminology - fear or paranoia that Intel will work or lean on him to post benchmarks that make them look good. I have found Anand to be (IMHO) the fairest of the reviewers on-line.. and he has said many many good things about AMD's Athlon and Duron line - so I think your fears are going to be unfounded.

I didn't realize how sick Anand was...poor fellow.
Actually I was already put to sleep by all benchmarks he was already using.

Jim,

Sick? We should all be so lucky. This guy is what, all of 18, and has his own website generating good $$$. And he writes really well too...he writes better than when I finished college. Then, of course, he knows chips 20 Xs better than I know racquetball....and I have played a lot of racquetball.

Sick, no...do I hate him, yes!! LOL

The truth is, Anand would not get a P4 unless he agreed to do the benchmarks Intel wants. End of story.

EDIT - Intel cannot control what other benchmarks the sites use, so I expect to see Anand and others testing against a bunch of other stuff also. But they may limit the testing time to make extensive testing of other stuff very difficult.

Jim, <Do you think people will look much past the bar chart? That's likely all they will remember. ... Actually I was already put to sleep by all benchmarks he was already using.>

So you'd rather read some other web site, say that one in Germany, which writes nothing but opinionated articles written at the 6th-grade level?

I think the readers of Anand like the in-depth analysis, which is why he provides it with all of the varied benchmarks. Besides, judging from his online polls, most of his readers are leaning on the side of AMD anyway, so there is no way Anand can write anything which remotely hints at Intel propaganda.

Besides, weren't you calling Anand a "whiz kid" over a year ago when the Athlon was first released?
